Jazz Me Baby’s managing part-owner Greg Browne and trainer Justine Erkelens can win a third Oaks in as many years when their lightly-raced Gingerbread Man filly lines up in the LR Belmont Oaks (2000m) on July 4.

Playing God sired his 28th black-type winner at Belmont on Saturday but there was only a nose between his promising 3yo Vatican Storm and unbeaten filly Hot And High (Too Darn Hot) in the LR Raconteur Stakes (1400m).

Gingerbread Man’s sixth winner this month arrived on Sunday and this time it was the turn of his Hong Kong expat Perfectday in the Siu Ma Shan Hcp (1400m) at Sha Tin.

Gingerbread Man was represented by the winners of six races in the first half of May and it could have mounted to a lot more this month but for the Bunbury meeting being abandoned on Sunday.

Herault promised plenty earlier this season with a Bunbury breakthrough in the Wittens Irrigation Maiden (1675m) in November and he resumed in style winning the Procon Hcp (1300m) at Northam on Sunday.
