Soldier Of God continued a winning week for Yarradale Stud and trainer Paul Jordan with a ground-saving victory in the Schweppes Hcp (1000m) at Ascot on Wednesday.

Yarradale Stud’s Playing God connection came to the fore again on Thursday when Streak Of God won with ears pricked at Bunbury for Grant & Alana Williams and a First Light Racing syndicate.

Trainer Ben Pearce claimed Platinum Shot is racing as well as ever this prep after she opened the Magic Millions meeting at Pinjarra with an all-the-way victory in the Gannon's Racing Colours Hcp (1400m) on Saturday.

Yarradale Stud topped Book 2 of the Magic Millions with a $190,000 Gingerbread Man colt on a day that also farewelled its Group 1 racehorse and sire War Chant (USA).

Yarradale Stud-bred mare Mistress Of War has been in career-best form for trainer Karen Kersley since resuming from a spring spell with two placings and two wins culminating with a gutsy victory in the Morley Growers Market Hcp (1800m) at Ascot on Wednesday.
