Incoming Yarradale Stud sire City Place (USA) can celebrate his arrival in Western Australia with a Group 1 winner at Arlington this Saturday, August 16.

Soldier’s Lass appreciated the drop back from black-type company to snare the Ultimate Sports Day Hcp (1200m) at Belmont on Saturday.

City Place (USA) marked his pending move to Yarradale Stud with a Group 3 win by La Tia at Woodbine on Saturday.

Disco Metal notched the first win for Yarradale Stud sire Discorsi in the Northam Race Club Maiden (1100m) on Thursday.

Proven USA stallion City Place has been bought to stand at Yarradale Stud this season.  A son of Storm Cat, he has built up a superb 82% winning strike-rate since retiring to stud in Florida.
