Frost Giant’s return to Yarradale Stud has coincided with his first foals on the ground at Gidgegannup.

The Group 1 winning son of Giant’s Causeway shuttles from Keane Stud in New York where he has claimed that State’s first and second-season premierships.

Frost Giant (USA) has sired 16 winners of $735,600 this year and is locked in a battle with Bustin Stones for the third-season title.  His leading earner Loki’s Vengeance won the LR Times Square Stakes at Aqueduct in April.


Frost Giant - Forest Fire (Forestry) colt
First foal from a mare imported ‘in utero’ to Yarradale in February 2009.  Second-dam Brunequilda (Chi) was Group 1 placed in the Chilean 1000 Guineas.

Frost Giant - Enticing Smile (Hussonet) filly
Her dam is a half-sister to Melbourne stakes winner Eclair Mystic (Stratum).  Second dam Leica Smile won a G1 Australasian Oaks.

Frost Giant - Metallic Storm (Metal Storm) filly
Metallic Storm was a multiple stakes winner of the LR Crawford Stakes (2) and LR Placid Ark Stakes.  Her War Chant colt made $170,000 at the 2014 Perth Magic Millions.

Frost Giant - Miss Belair (Grand Lodge) filly
Miss Belair had missed four years in a row to Eastern States stallions before foaling a War Chant colt and this Frost Giant filly.  She won at Flemington & Moonee Valley and is a half-sister to G1 George Ryder Stakes winner Landsighting.
