Group 1 racehorse and sire War Chant (USA) has left a lasting legacy from his years at Three Chimneys Farm in Kentucky and Yarradale Stud in Western Australia.

Yarradale Stud graduate Little Silver made the most of a slow tempo to stave off the late challenge of odds-on favourite Kings Salute to win the TABtouch Hcp (1500m) at Pinjarra on Wednesday.

War Chant (USA) was a favourite among broodmare owners during his southern-hemisphere years and there were another two locally-bred 3yo winners by the former Yarradale Stud sire in June.

Gingerbread Man delivered a one-two punch in Perth and Broome on Saturday to complete another winning week for Yarradale Stud.

Fluro Neuro was held up for a run in the Schweppes Hcp (1300m) at Belmont on Saturday but that proved a blessing in disguise for Belhus Racing manager Peter Morley and trainers Grant & Alana Williams.
