Bradbury’s Luck 2yo Twice Lucky came to attention in the TABtouch Better Your Club Maiden (1200m) at Pinjarra last Wednesday.  He led all the way second time out for owners Frank and May Edwards and trainer Rhys Radford.  The Claremont couple have just retired their Group 1 winner Great Shot who defeated Black Heart Bart in a thrilling finish to the 2017 Railway Stakes.

Twice Lucky (2g Bradbury’s Luck - Storm Sense by Street Sense) cost $27,000 from Yarradale at the 2020 Perth Magic Millions.  His Gingerbread Man yearling half-brother headed east after selling to Bryce Heys for $60,000 at this year’s Magic Millions.

Bradbury’s Luck was part of record-breaking Day 1 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale at the Gold Coast yesterday.  His Brisbane Stakes-winning 6yo mare Skate To Paris was purchased for $120,000 by Shen You Holdings

Gingerbread Man 2yo Ain't No Other Man will attempt a running double at Belmont this Saturday in the Mrs Mac's Plate (1200m).  He is coming off a last-start at Ascot victory for owner-breeder Wally Daly and trainers Sean & Jake Casey.  "We were confident he would step up to 1400m," Jake Casey said after watching Laqdar 'Rolling' Ramoly take the short way home. "He settled well then got the run along the fence and let down for a good win."

In Melbourne, Ginger Jones will be gunning for a third city win this year in the Catanach's Jewellers Hcp (1100m).  He was bred by Ellie Giles and has earned over $300,000 for Aqua Thoroughbreds (Tom Curnow) and Seymour Bloodstock (Darren Thomas).

War Chant (USA) mare Dance Music is racing second-up in the LR Belmont Sprint this Saturday.  Her rivals in the a red-hot renewal of the $200,000 Sprint include Yarradale graduate Valour Road (Frost Giant).

Guns Of Navarone is ready to win again for Neville and Carol Parnham in the Amelia Park Hcp (1000m) at Belmont.  The War Chant warhorse broke a 12 month drought at the Ascot midweeks on May 12.

War Chant 3yo Canto De Guerra won an Albany maiden first-up and has been entered for a Kalgoorlie Class 1 this Sunday.  Yarradale graduates completed a Goldfields double last weekend with Calling Card (War Chant) and Fingermark (Frost Giant).
